Dawdlebird understands the value of privacy, and we make no effort to collect any personal data. To be able to offer our services, we do make use of several third-party services through which certain data-collection might take place. This page is to inform end-users of our policies with regards to privacy and data-collection from those that use our services. Choosing to use our services implies agreement to these policies, so please make sure to have read and understood them.

1. Data Collection

To optimize the enjoyability and quality of our services, we currently use Unity Analitics and to enable us to collect certain metrics. These metrics are along the lines of:

  • Game session duration
  • Scores
  • Retention (how many players keep playing the game after initial download and installation
    • These metrics are collected anonymously and expressed in graphs and numbers only to us. Additionally our games might come with advertising (which users can choose to permanently disable through an in-app purchase). For this we currently make use of Unity Ads (which itself uses Unity Analytics). This service might collect certain 'device identifiers' such as information on the operating system, IP address and country of use (mapped from IP address).     2. Our Policies Concerning Children

    Our services are intended for general audiences. Dawdlebird Games does not knowingly collect any personal information from children and we make sure that any third party tools (such as the Ad Services we use) are and remain compliant with Applicable Data Protection Laws

    3. Purpose of Data Collection

    The sole purpose of any data collected is to improve the enjoyability and quality of our games. We are interested in metrics such as 'how long does a play session last' and 'in what levels do players get stuck' for example, in the hopes of being able to improve our services.

    4. Data Sharing

    Other than the aforementioned Unity tools and the publishing platform through which our games are made available (Google Play), no further third parties are provided any access or insight into any (if any) user data available to us. This is and will remain our policy.
